Role: Designer, Louisville High School Advancement Team
Challenge: Design video ads and supporting graphics for Louisville High School’s various recruitment events and campaigns, while staying true to the school’s brand and messaging goals. Placements included CTV, social media video ads, and multi touch display banners. Each project needed to highlight a different focus, from student life and academics to athletics, with its own key statistics, and call to action tied to that event. Every piece needed to work across multiple formats and sizes, from square and portrait social ads to CTV video and small banner sizes.
Results: Over time, I became very familiar with the school’s full library of photos and videos, learning what content would work best for each focus area. This gave me the creative license to select and pair visuals on my own, taking a lot of the planning work off the client’s plate since they no longer needed to dictate specific content for each project. Because most turnarounds were quick and the formats were small, I transitioned from Premiere Pro to Canva’s video editor to keep the process efficient. For the CTV ads, I also created storyboards to map out possible creative directions for the client to review.
